Hi, Emily Angwin! I’m an Australian news anchor, journalist, and event moderator, currently living and working in Malaysia, while also completing a Masters of International Relations.
I’ve worked in the Middle East, across Asia and Australia, as well as been deployed to South Africa and Brazil.
I’m available for freelance reporting opportunities or to host your next event.
Before moving to Malaysia, I was based in the Philippines. Prior to that, I was a Senior Anchor for Al Jazeera in Qatar where I hosted the News Hour, Inside Story and daily bulletins.
I’m a passionate storyteller and communicator and began my media career in my hometown of Melbourne and now have 18 years of broadcast experience spanning four continents.
