I’ve spent the past two years living in the Philippines working as freelance reporter. I’ve had the privilege of sharing stories from across the archipelago, including extreme weather events, tensions in the South China Sea and Manila’s diplomatic relationship with Washington.
Prior to my move to Manila, I was a regular face on Al Jazeera English in Qatar and was at the desk for rolling coverage of the 2023 Israel Gaza War, the death of Queen Elizabeth II, U.S. midterms, and the overturning of Roe V. Wade.
I’m a passionate story-teller and spent time in South Africa in 2022, reporting on efforts to save endangered animals. It was a career highlight.
My first move away from Australia was in 2019 when I was head-hunted to anchor at China Global Television Network. I was in Beijing during the outbreak of the pandemic.
I began my media career in 2007 in my hometown of Melbourne, Australia and worked extensively in radio before making the transition to television in 2011 for the Seven Network Australia.
I’ve also covered many sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup 2022, Australian Open, Australian Football League and Rio Paralympic Games 2016.
I love hosting large corporate functions and charities close to my heart.
I’m currently busy completing a Master of International Relations at Queen Mary University London and I have a Bachelor of Communications from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
My next adventure will be in Malaysia in 2025 where I hope to continue my freelance work, so get in touch!
